Have you noticed?
When you start doing well, when people begin to like you, when your name starts to ring in your environment, in your profession and in your family - suddenly, some people who never cared about you will start to hate you for no reason.
Don't be surprised. That is the price of light.
*THE TRUTH IS THIS:*
A lamp does not attract only humans. It attracts insects too.
When you were nobody, nobody talked about you. But the day you started growing - in business, in politics, in marriage, in every other thing - some people became uncomfortable.
Not because you offended them, but because your progress reminds them of their stagnation.
And here is what many people don't understand: _Competition doesn't exist in some people's lives. That's how they were created._ They are not in a race with you. They are not competing. They are just living their purpose, minding their business, and shining in their own lane. But because you see life as competition, you think they are competing with you. They are not.
*MY ADVICE TO YOU WHO IS HATED:*
*1. Don't dim your light to make others comfortable.* God did not give you that grace for you to hide it. Shine.
*2. Don't reply every hate.* A lion does not reply dogs when they bark. Keep building.
*3. Understand that hate is also promotion.* If they were not seeing you, they wouldn't talk about you. The fact that they hate you means you are now visible.
*4. Pray for them, but keep distance.* Not everyone who smiles with you wants you to succeed.
*MY ADVICE TO YOU WHO IS HATING:*
My brother, my sister, that person you hate did not block your destiny.
Hating anyone because he or she is loved will not help you. Hating your neighbour because he or she is growing will not make you grow.
Instead of hating, ask yourself: What is he or she doing that I am not doing?
*1. Celebrate others, your time will come.* The same God who lifted him can lift you.
*2. Hate is heavy.* It is a load. Drop it. You need your energy to build your own life.
*3. If you cannot beat them, learn from them.* That man you envy has a secret - hard work, loyalty, sacrifice.
*4. Know this: Some people are not your competition.* They were created without competition in their dictionary. They are just being themselves. Leave them alone and find your own lane.
*FINAL WORD:*
In this life, you will never be loved by everybody. Even Jesus was loved by many and hated by many.
So stop trying to be liked by all. Be real. Be focused. Do well.
Those who love you will stay. Those who hate you will eventually get tired and start to pretend they love you when you become bigger.
