The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) has entered a new phase of documentation as beneficiaries who received SMS alerts are now visiting their banks for account regularization.

According to updates gathered by *imomediahub.org*, many applicants who applied through the YEIDEP portal have received messages from Keystone Bank requesting them to come forward with their account documents for verification and regularization.

While some beneficiaries have already visited their banks and completed the process, a large number of applicants are still awaiting their turn for grant disbursement.

A source close to the programme advised applicants who have received the documentation SMS to visit their designated banks without delay.

"Those who filled the form and have received messages should visit their bank for regularisation. For those who haven't applied yet, they should approach the partnering banks like Keystone Bank, UBA, Access Bank and others," the source said.

He also cautioned Nigerians not to ignore such opportunities due to doubts about government programmes.

"Many people are ignoring this, thinking it's the usual Nigerian way. But it's better to try your luck than not to try at all. A lot of people have benefited from similar programmes like this. As long as nobody is collecting money from you, try it," he added.

YEIDEP is one of the Federal Government-backed youth empowerment programmes aimed at supporting young Nigerians with grants and financial inclusion through partnering commercial banks.

Applicants are advised to visit only accredited partnering banks and avoid paying money to anyone claiming to facilitate the grant.
